Services

Petricore provides a variety of well site and laboratory services that can be tailor made to meet the requirements of our clients.  Although a short description is provided of each of our service lines, please do not hesitate to make your requirements known to us so that we can design each service package to be of maximum benefit to you, our client.

Laboratory Services.

Petricore´s network of laboratories provide a complete suite of services.  Basic services are provided at each of our four laboratory locations (Abu Dhabi, Houston, Poza Rica and Villahermosa), in addition to specializing in certain tesing that rounds out the Petricore suite of services.  Villahermosa, Mexico provides the industry with top of the line petrographic and geologial interpretive services, along with core preservation onsite, basic core handling and petrophysical services including capillary pressure, liquid permeability, electrical properties and compressibility.

The geomecanics department provides on time solution and services for well completion, wellbore stability, geomechanical modeling and frac design. Accustomed to working with the fast–paced exploration programs in Mexico, our Villahermosa location has the capacity to turn around large amounts of analysis in very short time-frames.

Wellsite Services.

Field units are provided for on-site monitoring of the drilling activities of exploration and development wells.  Our mudlogging units have state of the art monitoring equipment to ensure safe drilling conditions at all times during your drilling program.  Information is also gathered from the wellbore in order to provide lithology and stratigraphic services including thin section elaboration and sample preparation for biostratigraphy (age) confirmation.

Well cuttings and other geological samples from the well are evaluated for seal capacity and reservoir unit characterization. Since the wellsite services are intimately related to the lab services, our field personnel are versed in on site core description and preservation
